Is Treatment Covered by My Insurance?

Manual Physical Therapy & Concierge Services is out of network with all health insurance plans. However, you may still be eligible for benefits to help cover the cost of your sessions. Using the Reimbursify app makes it easier for you to get reimbursed for any out of network benefits that you are eligible for through your insurance.

The app allows you to file a claim for reimbursement within minutes. Just provide the app with your detailed receipt or “superbill.” The superbill, we provide, has the necessary information on it to file a claim within the Reimbursify app.

Once you submit your superbill in the app, it will alert you when the claim has been received by your insurance company. The next step is to wait until the app notifies you if any additional information needed or when you should expect your reimbursement check in the mail (usually within 2-4 weeks).

I was in sheer agony as the doctors could not determine the cause of my pain being from my back or my hip. My daughter had worked with Joann at a rehab facility and said to me..."I don't know what she does, but her patients all love her"That was all I needed to hear. I wanted to be out of pain.I cannot say enough good things about Joann and her unusual techniques other than I would not have survived without her.Happy to report, my hip has been replaced and I am now for the most part pain free.Thank you Joann for getting me through the "worst period of my life"

I can't say enough about this group.What a kind compassionate and caring team.I went in with pain that left me in tears and I left there with little to no pain.That was just a 30 min consultation.Myra was my therapist and never made me feel uncomfortable or rushed in any way. She answered all my questions and left me feeling incredibly comfortable.I can't wait to continue my therapy to get me back up and moving ..Thank you ladies !!!!

My pain Dr. sent me here to give it a try. I have been in pain for way over 10 years with back, neck, shoulder, and rear end pain. So far, this place is the only place that is giving me hope that I will have a better future.

At 71 years old, I discovered I had extreme scoliosis. Apparently, my body compensated until it didn’t. After major back surgery to correct the curve, I had severe leg muscle pain. I had walked so many years leaning to the right (where the curve was) that my muscles had shortened. Having my back straight for the first time in my life, my leg muscles just wouldn’t stretch out straight again. A doctor recommended I go to Manual Therapy and Concierge Service. It was the best advice ever! Working with Joann and Maira changed my life. Joann diagnosed my problem and Maira worked muscled-to-muscle to release the shortened muscles and give my life back to me. It takes patience and commitment to follow their instructions but if you do, you can have a chance for a pain-fee life again. I believe a standard physical therapy clinic could not have helped with my specific problem. I highly and strongly recommend Physical Therapy and Concierge Service.

I can’t not say enough about Joann and her team. I had tried EVERYTHING and was at my absolute wits end of being in chronic pain for over 5 years. I am a naturally happy person with a beautiful life, but my pain was causing my crippling depression. Joann totally understood what my body was going through. She made me feel heard, and sane! That the pain was not only NOT My fault, but that there was a solution! Not only does she get the body out of pain, she also gives you tools to help yourself. And the fact that you can reach out to her with any issues, and she can help over the phone or via FaceTime is amazing! Joann is a true healer, and I am very gradual that she shares her gift !

My therapist resolved my pain by correcting my posture and releasing tight muscles, which a medical doctor never did. I loved my therapist because she showed me on her ipad what she was doing. She responded to all the pain I had. I didn't know until the end of my treatment that she researched on her own time how best to treat me. Even though I still have some pain (I have fibromyalgia), I am able to swim, teach water exercise and bike like I used to before I was treated. I would highly recommend Manual Physical Therapy. I tried other physical therapy before a friend recommended MPT. It was useless.

This is the best clinic and the best therapists in Sarasota/Manatee county. Joanne’s approach to resolving pain is brilliant and she has helped me restore optimal, pain free functional mobility on more than one occasion. I have been suffering with hip pain for many years. I follow all the instructions from my doctors. I got shots, did many sessions of physical therapy. Ending with a left hip replacement in 2017. Things didn't go well and I had to have it redone 6 weeks later. I and longer period of recovery I did physical therapy again. It helped but I ran out of appointments. I tried to continue on my own and made some progress but I still had pain in my left hip. I was getting depressed and I called the surgeon to see what can be done. The x-rays showed it to be muscular and the AP suggest Manual Physical Therapy and told me that she thought they would be the best place for my problem. May my first appointment in October and did 15 of the 18 aloud by my insurance. I saw Joanne the first time and then Debbie helped my with therapy. I have 80% less pain and 80% more movement with my hip. They are pleasant and professional with the treatment. I am continuing the program that they have set me up with for my after care. In October I would at times have difficulty just walking from the car into the grocery store. Last night I walked 2 miles plus with no problem. I work up from a half mile to 2 miles over the past several months. My psychological outlook have improved a 100% as well. So if you need help and you are a fit for them I highly recommend a visit. Manual Physical Therapy was recommended to me by a pain management doctor. I had already scheduled a consult with a surgeon for severe nerve pain. After my first visit I knew I was in good hands. I canceled my surgeon consult, stopped any meds, and continued my appointments with Manual Therapy. In a matter of weeks, I was out of pain. One year later, I can take care of myself so I am not a slave to appointment after appointment. This place has made me pain free, put me back to work, and gave me the confidence to (follow instructions) take care of myself with simple exercises every day so I stay pain free.

I had problems with my hip. It hurt to move, to turn over in bed, to get in the car, get out of the car, etc. I'd had this problem for 3 years. I went to Manual Physical Therapy, and after the first visit, I noticed a difference in the pain level. After my treatment was finished, my pain had gone from a 10 to about a 3. They showed me exercises to do to help, and they really do work. I try to do them daily, but when I notice my pain level rising, I do the exercises! This is the best place for getting your life back. Manual Physical Therapy is not like the usual physical therapy...it's more of a hands on manipulation. I love them!

I was referred to Joann Pung by my Orthopedic Spine Surgeon in an effort to control pain in my back. I have been to many PTs over the years and they were all pretty much the same and provided little pain relief. Joann is very different from all the others. Her hands-on approach is different than anything I had previously experienced. After a few visits she had focused on specific issues relating to my pain and 'worked them' with great results. She taught me how to treat myself successfully. I highly recommend her for back pain issues.

Prior to Joanne , I had been to two famous neurosurgeons who told me the degenerative nature of my disease made me untreatable. I had been through multiple rounds of PT , chiropractic and spinal injections. Over a ten year period, I had spent about four months on bed rest. After one round of therapy with Joanne, I was walking and biking and had no periods of incapacitation. About 18 months later as some symptoms returned, I returned to Joaane and she worked with my wife and my massage therapist to assure long term recovery. Two plus years later, I am walking , biking and swimming and have had no periods of incapacitation. Joanne certainly fits my definition of a "miracle cure". This is the healthiest I have been since 2005 when my symptoms first became debilitating.

This is rare work. It's not "do 10 reps on each side and I'll be back." It's hands-on for the hour visit. It seems pain is body dysfunction. Their focus is on making muscles efficient. I saw changes I had not after trying several different practitioners - muscle activation, general PT, etc.

Joann is an absolutely wonderful person and an incredibly insightful therapist, unlike any other. My husband and I both met with her and we both feel truly fortunate to know her.
